Protecting Your Rights as a Parent
Pearland Parental Rights Lawyer
At my firm, Dennis M. Slate, Attorney at Law, I take my duty to protect the rights of parents very, very seriously. Whether you are a mother or father, you have the right to demand time with your children, and to have them delivered as outlined in a child custody ordered by the court or in your divorce agreement. Sadly, there are many cases in which a court order is violated, and a parent could have countless excuses about why the child or children are not available for court-ordered visitation. There are cases in which there has been an effort to alienate the children from the other parent, and they refuse to visit. No matter what your issue is, I can help you. As a U.S. Army Major, I can serve you whether you are a civilian or a member of the military, and I have the highest level of dedication to those I represent.
Parental Rights: Mothers and Fathers
Fathers who have not been legally acknowledged as being a parent may have to file a paternity case and get DNA testing ordered by the court in order to gain access to a child. Once paternity is established, the father now has the same legal rights to the child as the mother, as well as an equal level of responsibility. If you want to gain access to a child, contact my firm for assistance in paternity cases.
You may have been accused of being an unfit or neglectful parent; there are many divorce cases that are so bitter that accusations of abuse, neglect or other dangerous conduct are made by the other parent. If not properly fought, you could lose some or all of your access to your children. In some cases, protective services gets involved, and children are removed from the home. No matter what situation you are facing in which your parental rights are being violated, you can trust me and my team to get to work and help you fight to regain your access to your children. I am a zealous advocate for parental rights, and I urge you to contact me immediately if you have lost your rights, your visitation rights are being violated, or any other matter concerning parental rights.
